Special Activities

Whether it's taking one of our many field trips to an apple orchard to learn about bees, or a pumpkin patch to discover how pumpkins are grown, at Stepping Stones Montessori School we believe in educating the whole child, just as Maria Montessori did when the Montessori concept of education was first created. Even something as simple as making green eggs and ham in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, or making home-made root beer floats in tribute to National Root Beer Float Day, each fun event is treated as an opportunity to learn at our school. In the Stepping Stones Montessori School way of thinking, academics never start and stop with books, letters, numbers, pencils and a piece of paper, they are simply another opportunity to have some fun and discover something new while learning!
